Disney just announced that all 5-YEAR-OLDS on their cruise lines must be fully vaccinated and I'm literally on hold cancelling all Disney plans at this moment

Alright folks, this is it. The line has been drawn. Disney just announced that they will require all passengers aged 5 and older to be fully vaccinated to board their cruise ships, starting January 13th. This is in direct defiance of Florida Governor DeSantis' previously issued order that penalizes any company in Florida for requiring vaccination documents from clients. His order, which is currently stayed but under appeal, was made specifically to prevent this type of nonsense. And this is what we get when the laws meant to protect our freedom are ignored by those with the power to do so.

Sorry, but this is a deal breaker.

Say what you will about Disney as a company, some people really enjoy their parks and cruises and choose to ignore their ridiculous politics. But this is a line in the sand that many of us simply will not cross. I am not jabbing my 5-year-old with this vaccine, and many others around the country feel the same as me.

Let's be clear, this is a virus that poses almost zero threat to a 5-year-old, with less than 0.03% of covid infections in children resulting in death. Oh, and the vaccine has not been proven to significantly limit the spread of the virus among the infected. So what is the point of this requirement? Scientifically, there is none.

And that's why I won't comply. I'd rather never take a cruise for the rest of my life than vaccinate my child against a virus that does them no harm and has not undergone true long-term testing.

Bon Voyage, Disney Cruise Lines. Nice knowing ya. Here's an actual live video of me on hold with Disney trying to cancel all of my upcoming plans:

I've been on hold for an hour and 40 minutes, and it says I have 3 hours left. I guess I'm not the only one.
