Dog-napping accomplice sues Lady Gaga for not paying $500,000 reward when her dogs were returned

Way back in February of 2021, Lady Gaga's dogs were dog-napped. The thieves shot Gaga's assistant in order to steal the dogs.

Gaga's dogs are French bulldogs, which can run up to $3,000 for a purebred.

According to police, the dogs were stolen for their value, not because the thieves were aware of who they belonged too.

But when Lady Gaga offered $500,000 no questions asked for the return of her dogs, the dogs were quickly returned by one Jennifer McBride, who purportedly "found" the dogs.

It turned out that McBride was the girlfriend of the father of one of the guys that shot Gaga's assistant, and she was arrested and charged along with four others as an accomplice in the dog-napping and attempted murder.

McBride ended up getting convicted of knowingly receiving stolen property, but not the accomplice to murder part.

But now two years later, she says that she still hasn't got her $500,000 reward.

Lady Gaga said the reward was "no questions asked," and McBride's lawyer says that Gaga is in breach of contract for not paying up.

McBride also wants another $1.5 million in "mental anguish" and "pain and suffering" due to the fraud and misrepresentation from Gaga's breached contract.

The funny thing is that in pro-crime California, she probably has a legitimate case and will get a settlement.
