We've all been there.
That awkward moment when you're at a function and realize, "I could really use a medium two-topping Domino's pizza right now."
Well, you're in luck now, because that's EXACTLY the problem Domino's is solving.
The Domino's "Emergency Pizza" program offers customers a free medium two-topping pizza that can be used whenever they deem necessary.
"Perhaps you burned dinner, the power went out or maybe your in-laws just dropped in without notice — whatever your emergency situation, Domino's believes a free pizza can make anything better," Kate Trumbull, Domino's senior vice president and chief brand officer, shared in a recent press release.
Honestly, it's not the worst promotion idea I've ever heard.
But usually, when I have a "pizza emergency" it's because someone ordered Domino's instead of pretty much any other pizza brand.
Basically, it's a buy one get one free pizza deal that can be cashed in on a rainy day.
The deal works like this, be a member of Domino's new loyalty program, place a $7.99 or more order online, and your very own emergency pizza will be credited to your account to cash in whenever your dire need of Domino's arises.
As long as it is within the next 30 days. And you have to sign up before February 11, 2024. And you can't redeem it on Halloween. Or New Year's Eve. Or Super Bowl Sunday. You know, three of the biggest pizza days of the year.
But if you like Domino's I can see how this would be a good deal.
