Don Lemon is STILL absent from CNN's morning show, and discussions of the anchor's future are "ongoing"

Who would have imagined that the final downfall in the long, long decline of the Don Lemon would be his making a "sexist" remark against Nikki Haley?

Apparently, that was all that CNN needed to take action to remove the host who lost his primetime show and was moved to the morning slot a few months ago.

From the Post Millennial:

After Don Lemon made sexist remarks on Thursday about presidential candidate and former ambassador to the UN under Trump Nikki Haley, Don Lemon was out from his CNN morning show host chair on Friday. Now, sources say that Lemon will be removed from show on Monday, too. Sources told Confinder that a new schedule is in place per CNN management, and Lemon is not on it.

Instead, Poppy Harlow will be accompanied by Sara Sidner and Kaitlan Collins, who is in Poland, the Daily Beast reports. "There are ongoing conversations about Don's future," a source told Confider. "He is a constant distraction."

Sources were confirmed right this morning when, in fact, Don Lemon was absent from the morning show.

Amid ongoing criticism over his comments about Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, Don Lemon was absent Monday from "CNN This Morning." Co-host Poppy Harlow told viewers that "Don has the day off."

Lemon has been spiraling downwards at CNN for some time now, and it appears that CNN is possibly using this as an opportunity to finally rid themselves of the host.

CNN CEO Christ Licht had said he was "disappointed" by the remarks [about Nikki Haley]...

"His remarks were upsetting, unacceptable, and unfair to his co-hosts, and ultimately a huge distraction to the great work of this organization," Licht said on a Friday editorial call.

Lemon's future with the network is not clear. In September, Lemon was pulled from his prime time spot and moved into a morning spot that replaced New Day.

If there's one good thing that comes out of Nikki Haley's presidential run, it looks like it might be that we finally get to say goodbye to the Dumbest Man on Television.
