Donald Trump is on the ground in the storm-ravaged Southeast. Biden and Harris plan to visit sometime next week.

We are starting to see who the real leaders of our country are.

President Trump, in the same way he brought attention and hope to the people of East Palestine, Ohio, is planning to immediately visit Georgia after Hurricane Helene ravaged the area.

Trump announced his visit on X:

We are now heading to Valdosta, Georgia, in order to pay my respects and bring lots of relief material, including fuel, equipment, water, and other things, to the State. Many politicians and Law Enforcement will be there. We'll be saying hello to Franklin Graham, Burt Jones, Tyler Harper, Mike Collins, Austin Scott, Russ Goodman, Sam Watson, and the Mayor of Valdosta Scott James. They are working very hard.

I was also going to stop into North Carolina, which has really been hit hard. I have a lot of supplies ready for them, but access and communication is now restricted, and we want to make sure that Local Emergency Management is able to focus on helping the people most affected, and not being concerned with me.

I'll be there shortly, but don't like the reports that I'm getting about the Federal Government, and the Democrat Governor of the State, going out of their way to not help people in Republican areas. MAGA!

President Trump has already landed in Valdosta and is talking with local leaders.

Trump said he is working with Elon Musk to help get local communities set up with StarLink satellite internet:

Meanwhile, Democrat leaders in North Carolina are not allowing Donald Trump in quite yet.

In contrast, Biden and Kamala are also planning trips to survey damage, but not until next week.

At the beginning of a rally in Las Vegas on Sunday, Harris said 'we will stand with these communities for as long as it takes to make sure that they are able to recover and rebuild.'

...

Trump criticized Harris for attending weekend 'fundraising events with her radical left lunatic donors' in California while the storm hit.

Biden said on Sunday that he would visit if he didn't disrupt storm-response efforts, but it seems its already possible for someone to visit without doing that, so it unknown why Biden is waiting until a later date to visit.

But don't worry, Biden was on the phone for two hours!

(Just in case you were wondering who really cares about people hurting and dying in the South...)
