Maybe some of you Ultra-MAGA folks can help me figure out what President Trump is doing here with this bizarre tweet criticizing/praising Virgina's Glenn Youngkin for, supposedly, being more loyal to Trump than a certain other governor.

Here's Trump's post on Truth Social from Friday morning:

Young Kin (now that's an interesting take. Sounds Chinese, doesn't it?) in Virginia couldn't have won without me. I Endorsed him, did a very big Trump Rally for him telephonically, got MAGA to Vote for him - or he couldn't have come close to winning. But he knows that, and admits it. Besides, having a hard time with the Dems in Virginia - But he'll get it done!

Glenn Youngkin, who didn't run a very MAGA campaign, never brought up election integrity, and instead campaigned on schools and education, won Virginia in 2021.

However, Trump did support Youngkin.

I guess since Youngkin is less of a threat to Donald Trump in 2024, the Donald wants to use Youngkin's success to hold over his main rival, Ron DeSantis.

I'm certain Trump has his reasons for going after fellow Republicans, I just can't imagine what they are.
