After ABC folded and announced they would be bringing back Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Sinclair Broadcast Group, which controls television stations all across the US, seems to be saying "not so fast."

Here's their statement released last night, apparently indicating they are still in talks with ABC and still have not decided whether they will air Jimmy Kimmel's brand of lame anti-comedy

Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live! across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming. Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show's potential return.

Sinclair has reportedly demanded Kimmel "issue a direct apology to the Kirk family" and to make a "meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA," something that Kimmel has refused to do.

In the meantime, it looks like Sinclair shows will not be airing Jimmy Kimmel Live! as the discussions continue.
