Here's what syncretism (aka, apostasy) looks like in San Fran-sicko.
Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, California, hosted "Drag Queen Bible Story Hour" on June 18, featuring "Joann Fabrixxx" and "Flamy Grant."
"We're hoping to offer a little balance to all of the hateful rhetoric that's out in the country, and, especially, coming from churches, and from politicians who are using churches and trans people and using drag queens as their props," Rev. Victor Floyd said.
Adults sat in the pews while children sat on the floor in front of the stage at the event.
"What a gift it was to have Joann Fabrixxx (aka the Rev. @samfranciscotreat), Flamy Grant (@flamygrant), and the Rev Janie Spahr with us this afternoon for Drag Queen Bible Story Hour," the church said on Facebook on Sunday.
"We thank God for the great diversity present in this world and hold to the truth that each and every one of us is created in God's image and loved by God. For the gift of Drag Queens, O God, we give you thanks!"
Now, let's talk about the stupid names of these two clowns.
No, your eyes do not deceive you; in total groomer fashion, that is a triple-X in the name of the pope-hat wearing pervert: Joann Fabrixxx. I wonder how the actual JOANN Fabric store would feel about their name being used for a drag persona.
Maybe this name choice flew over your head, but I'm sure all of you longtime CCM enjoyers in the audience immediately understood the pun. It's a reference to Amy Grant, a CCM star from back-in-the-day. Amy might actually be flattered Flamy's name choice, considering she recently hosted a same-sex wedding.
I'll tell you who isn't flattered by this wicked service: God.
Every single adult responsible for hosting and attending this event needs to cry out to God and repent because, I can assure you of these two things: (1) God is angry about this, and (2) a reckoning is coming.
God calls this an "abomination."
Jesus (i.e., God) said he would prefer for people to drown themselves in the sea, than cause one of these little ones to sin. How's that for "HaTeFuL rHeToRiC"?
Jesus and the apostles reserved their harshest, most severe judgmental pronouncements for false shepherds such as these evil men leading this service.
