Will Cain is still the man.
Last night, the ESPY's, ESPN's yearly award show, did a feature on the "equal pay" fight that women's soccer stars like Megan Rapinoe have been involved in. During this feature, ESPN played a clip from Will Cain who used to be employed by ESPN, taking him completely out of context.
Fortunately, Greg Price has the context and has corrected ESPN's mistake in this video:
Men make 7% of the pool of money they bring in while women at the time made 20% of the money from their pool. But the women's pool is much smaller because no one outside the US cares about women's soccer. Yes, woman have equal value to men, but when you're talking about the physical ability to run, jump, and fight, "equal" pay means giving people a fair amount based on their natural ability.
But now the women have "won" the fight (meaning they get to steal money from the men's pot).
And ESPN played Will Cain saying it would never happen.
But he was obviously correct in that the women's soccer team is still earning MUCH less money.
ESPN is the wokest name in sports and the ESPYs are the worst because of its ridiculous politically correct messaging.
Go back to the good old days!
