It all started when Paris museum Musée Grévin unveiled its latest wax figure of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
It was a decent likeness, except for one thing.
Dwayne Johnson isn't a white guy.
Of course in today's race obsessed culture, there was the usual outrage.
That reference to Beyonce's wax figure happened in 2017 when Madame Tussauds released this figure of white Beyonce.
Johnson was classy about the issue but made it clear he wanted it fixed.
"I'm going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at 'updating' my wax figure here with some important details and improvements - starting with my skin color," he wrote. And next time I'm in Paris, I'll stop in and have a drink with myself."
Musée Grévin jumped into action to fix the figure, and while the waxy Rock now has more melanin, it somehow looks even less like him than the original version.
Maybe it's because the additional shading emphasizes how big they made its eyes?
Seriously, why are its eyes so huge?
Were they worried about making the Rock's eyes too stereotypically Samoan?
I mean, it looks like a ripped Arnold Vosloo at this point.
It just goes to show, we're poor imitators of what God does so well.
