English soccer player could face punishment for writing "I love Jesus" on rainbow armband he's forced to wear

A British soccer player is being met with the wrath of the English Football Association for, as Tim Carney correctly points out ...

Yup, Marc Guehi, a Christian soccer player for England's Crystal Palace F.C., wrote "I ❤️ Jesus" on the rainbow armband that is being used by the association to promote homosexuality.

And now he is facing a formal reprimand.

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been issued with a reminder from the Football Association (FA) that religious symbols are prohibited, after writing 'I love Jesus' on his captain's armband, which was decorated with colours of the LGBTQ flag.

FA rules permit 'initiative slogans/emblems promoting the game of football, respect and integrity', but block players from displaying 'political, religious or personal slogans, statements or images.'

So, they can print his team captain armband in the flag of sodomy and pride in sexual liberation and that's not political or religious??

But "I love Jesus" is against the rules?!

Of course, the rainbow mafia is a religious and political group itself. But it's mandated by the league, so they don't have a problem with certain political messages -- just with ones that contradict THEIR religion.

'Marc Guehi has not received an official warning from us,' a spokesperson said. 'We have contacted Crystal Palace to formally remind them and Marc Guehi that the appearance on, or incorporation in, any item of clothing, football boots or other equipment of any religious message is prohibited as stated in Rule A4 of our kit and advertising regulations'

The rainbow armband was part of the FA's Rainbow Laces campaign, which encourages LGBTQ acceptance in football. Under the same guidance, this is not counted as a political or personal slogan, but a symbol promoting 'respect and tolerance'.

If the rainbow armband stands for "respect and tolerance" then why don't they respect and tolerate Marc's love for Jesus? Or are there some people that the league doesn't respect and tolerate, like Christians?

For now, the association has simply reminded the team of the rules that don't allow you to promote religion, outside of the approve rainbow religion, and are leaving any actions against Guehi up to the team.
