Ghislaine Maxwell isn't fighting to keep the 8 "John Does" from an earlier lawsuit secret anymore and hoo boy things are about to get interesting

That distant, frantic shuffling you hear may very well be the sound of very nervous men scrambling to pack their bags and dip out to Cuba:

Convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell will no longer fight to protect the identity of eight johns who allegedly had sex with young women she and her billionaire pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein procured for them.

A lawyer for Maxwell stated in a letter to federal Judge Loretta Preska this week that she would no longer object to the identities of the "John Does" in a 2015 civil lawsuit brought against Maxwell by Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre.

Prince Andrew of the UK just had his royal titles stripped by Queen Elizabeth ahead of his trial in the United States for the alleged crime. The prince's lawyers demanded that the other men in Giuffre's lawsuit be named.

Ghislaine Maxwell has given up on her battle to keep 'vast swathes of information' about her 'sex trafficking operation' with Jeffrey Epstein sealed after alleged victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre requested they be made public.

Attorneys for Giuffre, who has accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, asked Judge Loretta Preska Wednesday to unseal material from her 2015 civil lawsuit against Maxwell that includes references to eight anonymous John Does.

The individuals are identified in court documents only as 'Non-Parties 17, 53, 54, 55, 56, 73, 93 and 151'.

The 2015 "civil lawsuit" in question did not actually deal directly with Maxwell's sex trafficking operations; rather, it was "a defamation lawsuit that Giuffre filed against Maxwell in 2015 for calling her a liar."

Still, anything connected to Maxwell—and by extension Epstein—is virtually guaranteed to be a bombshell, and not in a good way.

I hope Maxwell has a jail cell to protect her from forced suicide. I mean, The Bee likes to pick on the Clintons...

...but the reality remains that there are a lot of powerful people who have a lot to lose if their names become connected to Epstein and Maxwell's underage sex trafficking operation.

You know, like:

Some of the John Does in question, however, don't outwardly seem that worried:

According to the filings, John Doe 17 is among those wishing to keep their identity under wraps, arguing that being named in the case would cause him 'annoyance and embarrassment.'

Another John Doe, number 151, claimed that he was 'trying to live a private life' and that disclosure meant they would be 'hounded' by the media.

Yeah there's really only one way we might describe this apparent lack of concern:

Get ready for what will likely be some wild scandal when those names drop.
