This is not satire, I promise you. European sports commentator Bob Ballard was removed from the Olympics broadcasting team because he made this joke about women taking a long time to get ready.
A spokesperson for Eurosport, which distributes the Olympic broadcast in Europe and shares the same parent company as CNN, confirmed Ballard had been dropped over his comments.
Fired.

Well the women just finishing off. You know what women are like, hanging around, you know, doing their makeup.
I guess you can openly parody women and Christians at the opening ceremony, but if you make an innocent joke about women taking a super long time to get ready (because they take super long to get ready) you'll be fired from the Olympics team at Eurosport.
Someone better tell The Babylon Bee about this!
