The US won its first-ever medal in women's rugby today, and they did it in the most astonishing way possible as the final seconds ticked off the clock.

The US Women's Rugby Team has been around since the late '80s, and this is their first medal in an Olympics tournament.
The milestone comes against Australia, who knows a thing or two about footy, which makes it all the better.
