I'll give you bonus points if you're able to tell me which part of the trilogy is on the screen.
I'm the biggest soccer fan that I know and I totally agree with this decision.
I understand that it was a huge "moment for women's sport," but it was super rude of everyone to ruin this person's immersion in Tolkien's Middle Earth with their shouting and clapping.
I suppose it's also possible that this person fell asleep while watching the movie. I won't lie, I've fallen asleep while watching Fellowship many times before they even make it out of the Shire!
Either way, the moral of the story is to hold onto this eternal truth:
A plane ride consuming Lord of the Rings is a plane ride well spent!
