Facebook is debuting a virtual reality meeting room because Mark Zuckerberg thinks that's what the world needs for some reason

We can all agree that working from home is pretty great—overall it's more relaxing, less harried, and if done right integrates easily with one's work/life balance.

So presumably, that's why Mark Zuckerberg wants to bring the worst aspects of the workplace into the home:

"Is VR the future of work-from-home?"

Maybe so, but if that's the case, why does the future look like a bunch of legless Sims hanging around a university library study room? Is that the world we're building now? What do we have to do to alter this timeline?

An actual demonstration of the program brings with it some serious Black Mirror-style vibes:

"I like it in here." 😂
