Music students from Bowling Green State University recently gave a private concert to some on-duty firemen after a little mix-up in venue during a music festival they were scheduled to play at in St. Louis.

They were meant to play at a private venue called Engine House 1, but their GPS routed them to the literal Fire Station 1. The results were both comical and beautiful.

After knocking on the door to confirm that this was, in fact, Engine House 1, the firefighters answered in the affirmative, because, well it was.

The very confused firemen, who were not expecting a private concert, were pleasantly surprised by the quartet's arrival. I can just imagine the response in the firehouse: "Anybody order a string quartet?"

But after some back and forth, the musicians realized their mistake.

They then went on their way to their actual concert venue, but not wanting to disappoint the kind firemen, they later returned to give a private performance at the actual Fire Station 1.

The firemen responded by giving the musicians a firehouse tour and a ride on the fire engine.

After hearing that one of the students said he'd never been that close to a fire engine, one of the firemen quipped,

I've never been that close to a string quartet.
