Will Duffy, a pastor at a small church outside of Denver, Colorado, somehow found himself in the middle of the flat Earth argument, and decided to conduct an "experiment" to settle the debate once and for all.
He brought in four Flat-Earthers and four Globe-Earthers and spent $35,000 to fly down to Antarctica to see if the sun sets there during the solstice.
Let's stay focused on the sun:
A 24-hour sun does not work on a flat Earth.
One of the guys he brought along was YouTuber Jeran Campanella, whose YouTube page is full of conspiracy theories, mostly of the Flat-Earth variety.
Campanella was forced to witness the 24-hour sun, which, sped up, looked like this:
You have to admit, that's a pretty sweet video. Most of us knew what would happen here, but I guess I didn't realize how beautiful it would be.
Anyhow, this proved to Campanella that Earth is, in fact, spherical. When Campanela faced Will Duffy's camera after witnessing the 24-hour sun, it was an instant classic.
Watch:
Bro has spent his career trying to convince people the Earth is flat, and now he has to face the fact that he's been wrong this whole time.
But that didn't stop the conspiracy theorists from caking on the conspiracy theories.
That's a fake video!
Bro, the Earth is not flat!
