A "wanted" Florida man is actually wanted by the law for grand theft now that his girlfriend found out he stole her ring and proposed to another woman with it. Yikes!

Editors note: Read closely as this love story is a bit complicated to follow because it is that wild.

The love triangle started to unravel once a woman from Orange City discovered that a man she was dating named "Marcus Brown" was also engaged to another woman who lives in Orlando. For reference: Orange City is about 36 minutes north of Orlando.

The Orange City girlfriend found the fiancé via Facebook and quickly noticed she was wearing her wedding band and engagement ring which was given to her through a previous marriage. She checked her jewelry box and discovered her old wedding rings were missing along with other pieces of jewelry totaling $6,270 in value.

She quickly confronted her boyfriend "Marcus" and reached out to the new fiancé in order to get her jewelry back. The Orlando fiancé said that the man she believed to be named "Joe" had also fooled her. He even brought her to the Orange City girlfriend's home and saying it was his and asking her to move in! The fiancé even got as far as packing up her home before being told by "Joe" that the house had "fallen through." Both women met the man on OkCupid.

I mean what was the plan here Joe/Marcus, really?! Just going to casually move your fiancé into your girlfriend's house?

The women decided to team up and went to detectives hoping to learn of his real identity. Well, you know how the old saying goes, "Ask and you shall receive." Investigators soon tracked down his sister who gave up his real identity. Marcus/Joe's real name is Joesph L. Davis and the least surprising thing here is that Davis is actually a convicted felon wanted in Oregon for a hit-and-run.

Davis is currently wanted on a felony grand theft charge out of Volusia County, Florida as well as the hit-and-run warrant out of Oregon. According to the ClickOrlando article, his prior arrests include possession of fictitious ID, filing a false police report, domestic assault and possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
