Richard Christopher Smith got in a tussle with the police recently after he walked out of a convenience store with multiple items including some adult beverages without paying.
The cops showed up while Smith was driving in circles around the shop for no apparent reason. Then Smith changed tactics, taking off onto the highway leading the police on a miles-long chase.
During the pursuit, deputies said Smith held a can of Ketel One vodka spritz out the window as he drove by a deputy trying to get him to stop, telling the deputy, 'I was just going to give you a drink, that's it.' Smith then attempted to ram two patrol vehicles in the midst of getting all four tires flattened by spike strips.
Yeah, he held the vodka spritz out the window to offer the cops a drink.
Bodycam video shows the man attempting to escape the cops, taunt them, get stopped after ramming the van into the cops, and then make the best punchline of all time.
