A dog walker in England found what she believed to be human remains in a muddy field and she promptly alerted authorities. When officers arrived with specialized teams and sniffer dogs to search the field they made a spud-tacular discovery. They determined that the human foot was actually just a potato with a mushroom growing next to it.

Honest mistake.

The Northumbria Police department posted about the incident on Twitter:

I don't blame the lady for thinking it's a foot. It looks like a foot!

It's a free for all these days. Your brain automatically overrides all logical thought. Surely, it can't be a human body, except your brain is telling you the exact opposite. "Oh ya lady, it's 2021 that's definitely a foot all right, good luck with that."
