Hoo boy. There's a lot of examples of heresies these days, but this one borders Rob Bell's "zim-zum of love" madness that seeks to make us all one with the New Age universe:

If you don't recognize his name, many of you (like Allie Stuckey) might recognize the song "Beautiful Things" by this former Christian artist:

First of all, I want to say this is sad to see. I don't wish that this man, who influenced the lives of many with his talent for music, has turned so far from the truth of Scripture.

With that said, everything Michael Gungor said in this tweet was antithetical to the teachings and fabric of the Bible. You might as well say "water is dry." Sure, it can sound profoundly mystical, but it's also completely and utterly wrong.

Here's how Mr. Gungor further defended his thoughts as a "mystic":

And here were a few thoughts to rightly rebuke him in the spirit of James 5:20:

There is only one Christ who makes beautiful things out of the mud, and his name is Jesus.
