This incident reportedly happened on Saturday. The police are currently looking for Zac Stacy, who previously played with the Rams and Jets.
Stacy is facing 2 felony charges stemming from the incident -- aggravated battery and criminal mischief, according to police docs obtained by TMZ Sports.
If convicted, the aggravated battery charge carries up to 15 years behind bars, and the criminal mischief carries up to 5.
In the docs, cops say the woman sustained injuries to her face, torso, and legs.
The woman, Kristen Evans, and the child are reportedly doing fine now, which is a huge relief.

Evans, 32, has now filed for a restraining order against Stacy, a former fifth round pick who played in eight games for the Jets in 2015.
The order claims that Stacy has been abusing her since she was pregnant with her son, with the attacks escalating and no signs of stopping.
Evans wrote: 'He will not stop. He will kill me and he will feel justified in his actions.'
