My goodness what a fail.

The people who want to take away guns (so only the very nice and kind government has them) are the same people who know exactly zero about guns.

Just so ya know, "AR" stands for the company that made this style of gun after WWII. It's the "ArmaLite Rifle," a design that Colt purchased the rights to and ultimately became the M16 used as the US military's weapon of choice. We still call civilian weapons ARs because they aren't Military machine guns. They are no different than the old semi-auto your grandpappy used.

They just have scary-looking rails to attach scary things like flashlights and they fold down because grandpappy didn't have advanced plastic polymers in his time.
