Once again a company is virtue signaling its alliance with the trans movement and targeting children. This time it's Kellogg's with their popular children's cereal, Fruit Loops.
Fruit Loops has partnered with BGC Canada (formerly The Boys and Girls Club of Canada) to give away free digital books for families, and they're advertising that the books have diversity, equity, and inclusion content.
But that's not all!
The fine print says that the material isn't appropriate for children.
"Content suitable for ages 13+."
Further explanation on the website says that children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult to peruse the content.
"Users must be 13 years of age or older to access the Kellogg's* Froot Loops* ED&I Digital Library independently. If under 13 years of age, users are to be accompanied by an adult to explore the content and follow on screen instructions for access to the Digital Library."
And yet, the website doesn't have categories for anyone over 13.
How many parents are going to read the fine print?
Kids can then peruse the library or choose from a list compiled by Kellogg's.
To be fair, much of the "gender empowerment" section focuses on education for girls ... but instead of empowering women, the site chooses to say it's empowering gender because we aren't allowed to acknowledge the concept of "woman" in the gender-blended clown world. Still, that's not going to stop Kellogg's from including "gender identity" and the feminist "she-persisted" ideas side by side.
And if you were wondering, this isn't Kellogg's first dance with this stuff.
Frosted Flakes mascot Tony the Tiger also caused a stir with his appearance with the infamous Budweiser killer, Dylan Mulvaney, at the Tony awards earlier this year.
Kellogg's played down the appearance then, but the company is taking great strides to virtue signal every which way.
They've committed to having a 50/50 split between men and women on their board by 2025, though they may just dress some of their men like women all things considered. They also have committed to having a 25% diverse workforce in the same timeline, which will require more than an outfit change.
Of course, if Kellogg's were going to pick one of their children's cereals to really embrace the transgender zeitgeist, Fruit Loops seems like the logical choice!
That fruit-loop joke has probably made me a criminal in Canada.
Thank the Lord, I live about as far away from the Canadian border as an American can!
