German retail giant Aldi Nord raises prices overnight by 20โ€“50% ๐Ÿ‘€

You may think this isn't that big of a deal โ€“ after all, what's a 50% price hike in Germany?

You'd be dead wrong.

German retailer Aldi Nord will raise its prices by an average of 20-50% due to an increase in production costs, local media reported on Sunday.

From Monday onwards, meat, sausage products, and butter will be "significantly more expensive," a company spokesman told German press agency DPA, adding that the price hikes in various products were necessary due to the rise in manufacturing costs.

The retailer blamed the Russia-Ukraine war for the price hikes, and to be fair, like that bad orange guy once warned, Germany's over reliance on Russia and Ukraine for gas and food is indeed coming back to bite them.

But as we all know, Russia's war with Ukraine is just the tip of the iceberg. There's two year's worth of horrible policy decisions that completely messed up the supply chain, with an active group of "elites" that want to mess it up.

Giant price hikes may be starting in Germany, but they won't stay there.

We're not talking about specialty or luxury items here. We are talking about basic staples of human life โ€“ butter, meat, sausage โ€“ that have been around for thousands of years.

Remember this from last June?

Somehow, in a magical modern world where the average man can afford such staples, our elites have found a way to make them only affordable for the rich once again!
