There is always going to be a government (sorry, anarchists), because force is needed to restrain evil in this world.

The only difference is how we see the role of government.

In nearly every society across time and space, people have existed to serve the government.

In the biblical teaching that formed the Western world, however, the government is appointed by (and accountable to) God, in order to serve the people. This is a unique teaching on the nature of power found in no other religion.

You can't have it both ways. You either reject the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and have a government of tyranny and slavery, or you obey Him and have a government that protects life and liberty.

Choose wisely.
