This is how bad global warming is getting in Europe, folks:
Travel was halted across Europe Saturday as heavy snow blanketed cities and freezing temperatures set in following a week of deadly early-season storms.
Flights were grounded in Munich and Dublin Saturday after a winter storm dumped snow across southern Germany and parts of Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, disrupting travel across the continent.
Hundreds of flights in and out of Munich were canceled and not expected to resume until Sunday morning, the airport announced.
See, global warming is actually so hot it's making it cold in Europe. Like, that's how hot it is.
Alright, I'll stop here and address the climate wackos who might have clicked on this story, cuz they'll say it's cLiMaTe cHaNge, not "global warming," and that more snow is evidence that the weather gods are getting testier.
The problem is, annual deaths from weather catastrophes are at historic lows (a fraction of what they were a century ago) and no one is talking (anymore) about a new ice age. Instead, the UN itself is saying it must fight "GLOBAL BOILING."
(So cool it with the "AKSHUALLY" talk, climate cultists.)
Anywho, the icing on the cake is that last week, the global warming specialists (including many from Germany) all flew in their private carbon dioxide-spewing jets down to Dubai. Let's hope their jets made it off the icy runways safely.
Here they are now:
Here's the scoop on that:
Leaders of developing nations jumped into Saturday's high-level speeches at the U.N. climate summit to press rich industrial countries to share their knowhow to fight global warming and ease the financial burdens they face — while trumpeting their own natural resources that swallow heat-trapping carbon in the air.
The 28th annual U.N. Conference of the Parties, or COP28, in the oil-rich United Arab Emirates, featured about 150 presidents, prime ministers, royals and other leaders who are presenting their plans to cut heat-trapping emissions and mostly seek unity with other nations to avert climate catastrophe that seemed to draw closer than ever in 2023.
So I'll run that by you again: A climate catastrophe caused by heat-trapping emissions is so catastrophic that almost the entire continent of Europe has been paralyzed by a snowstorm this week. And if we don't pledge to cut our emissions by like a zillion it will only continue to cool — or, I mean, warm.
Wait, which one is it?!
