Marshawn Lynch goes beast mode for Thanksgiving
· Nov 25, 2020 · NottheBee.com

Marshawn Lynch is a legend both on and off the field. The NFL posted this throwback video of Marshawn talking with his teammate about his Thanksgiving plans, and it's pretty hilarious and awesome at the same time.

Keeping true to his word year after year, Lynch continues to hand out Turkeys and provide empowerment and education to underprivileged youth through his charity named Fam 1st Family.

Lynch has made other positive headlines this year when he was caught on film handing out face masks on a golf cart in his Oakland community.

Sure, the NFL does really silly things but there is also a lot of good happening within the organization and through its players. Doing good things inspires other people to do good things, so we are starting off Thanksgiving with some feel good highlights of the week:

1.) After Joe Burrow suffered a torn ACL in the game against Cincinnati, fans donated $9 each (after Joe's Jersey #) to the Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund. So far, the donations total $30,000.

2.) The Tampa Bay Bucs players donated 1,000 meals to families in need and gave $41,000 to Feeding Tampa bay during their annual "Turkey Time with the O-Line" event.

3.) Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey (GO NOLES) purchased $20,000 worth of gift cards to hand out to families for Thanksgiving. In October, Ramsey pledged $1 million towards the Purpose Prep Academy in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, committed to providing quality education to underprivileged children.

4.) Aaron Rodgers partnered with Postmates to share gifts, meals and smiles with patients and staff at HSHS St. Vincent Children's Hospital. Rodgers donated an "unspecified amount" to Paul's Pantry to help with its Thanksgiving meal distribution to more than 1,400 local families.

It's a good year to be thankful for being able to still find the good (even if it's just a really good gif).
