This is so embarrassing for the Golf Channel. I'm a little embarrassed myself just watching this interview; I can't imagine how the interviewer feels.
Golf Channel's Lauren Withrow thought she'd catch up with former University of Texas QB Vince Young after he teed off at the BMW Pro-Am, but it turns out the man wasn't Vince Young at all.
Yeah, that was Citadel football coach Everette Sands, and definitely not Vince Young.

Sands is even decked out in Citadel gear, which should've been at least somewhat of a clue to Withrow, since Young made his fame at Texas. But I love how she just left the mic in his face like nothing happened.
For context, here's Vince Young:
I mean, he's black. So at least Golf Channel got that part right.
But man, didn't Sands just take that like a champ? (Not a national champ, just a regular champ.)
The local ABC affiliate caught up with Sands after the mishap.
I love that Sands is embracing this!
For the record, Vince Young is playing in the BMW Pro-Am.
No word yet as to whether Golf Channel is going to interview him later in the tournament, or accidentally interview Citadel's Everette Sands again.
