I don't even know how to write this article without sounding facetious.
First, the United States's number one sport, baseball, started to bleed fans, and then their men's and women's soccer teams started being competitive.
We all felt that something was wrong with the nation as we knew it; we were losing our national identity.
Now the death knell is sounding; the USA Cricket team is winning matches in the Cricket World Cup, upsetting some of the best teams in the world.
Seriously, what country are we living in?
I honestly didn't even know we had a cricket team!
But apparently we do, and they just kicked the wickets out of the heavily favored Pakistani team.
Just look at those stats.
No one in America even knows what those mean!!
Here are some video highlights for you to not understand too:
The best part is our players don't even play full time.
Our best guy is the lead engineer at Oracle!
Here's an interview with him:
Did he just explain the rules of cricket?
I still don't understand it.
Next up, we face off against India. They are also heavily favored to win, but our players are from the same place.
Maybe I should rant and rave about America becoming another globalist state, but why fight the bandwagon when we're winning?
Forget baseball!
Let's go USA cricket!
Or should I say,
"Sanyukt Raajy Amerika kriket jeeten!"
