Google Maps researcher says app doesn't offer "most scenic" walking routes because it would discriminate against "low-income streets" ๐Ÿซ

Did you know that taking the scenic route is racist?

No, that's not just my opinion, that's the opinion of one of the nerds in charge of Google Maps. Apparently, they like to take you on walks through dangerous neighborhoods because it would be racist not to.

Here are the now deleted/protected tweets from Kasey Klimes who worked as a senior researcher for Google Maps.

"Spacial inequality"???

Now we have to worry about inequality when it comes to what physical areas we walk through? So walking through richer, safer, and more upscale areas is now racist and inequitable?

Freakin' commies, man!!

Kasey never mentions race as a factor. But we're all adults. We know exactly what he's saying.

Google Maps will route you through dangerous neighborhoods to be anti-racist.

Why not make everyone drive and walk through Skid Row so that the neighborhood will be magically improved? Is that the next step for Google Maps?

I'm just curious, would anyone be interested in a quality maps app that would purposefully avoid dangerous, low-income, crime-heavy areas? Seems like a goldmine of an idea.

Google isn't alone in this woke madness. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Wokeness is a disease. And it's determined to get us all killed.
