The TV ratings are in for the Grammys that took place Sunday night, and holy cow ... it's pure carnage.

If you didn't watch (which, judging by the numbers, you probably didn't) you still likely heard about the performances because they were possibly the smuttiest display in Grammy history. Stripper poles, thongs, body parts jiggling everywhere, simulated sex on huge beds. And WAP. Lots of WAP.

So how bad was the viewership?

The award show averaged 7.89 million viewers Sunday night on CBS.

How bad is that?

The 2020 show averaged 16.54 million viewers.

Yeah, a haircut of MORE THAN HALF.

IN ONE YEAR.

They say "sex sells" ... but as they also say, "the numbers don't lie."
