Gretchen Whitmer defends abortion, saying it's "just good economics"

You guys, I'm telling you, all you have to do is listen to these lefty lunatics to know what they're really about. Because on many occasions, they'll say the quiet part out loud.

Take, for example, this snippet from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's State of the State address on Wednesday where she claims that killing babies in the womb is "just good economics":

Portraying abortion as a "freedom" and a "right," she said: "Protecting these freedoms is the right thing to do, and it's just good economics. States with extreme laws are losing talent and investment, because you know what? Bigotry is bad for business."

That round of applause at the end makes this video all the more eerie.

And seriously, "bigotry is bad for business"?

Well, if by "bigotry" you mean people who think killing babies in the womb is evil then I don't really want to have any part of this "business" you speak of.

And am I wrong to assume that you're putting profits before people here?

Because I'm pretty sure that's what this is.

(Yes, I know we're not supposed to use the word "person" to describe a fetus. I went to college.)

What's extra ironic here is Whitmer opened her speech by speaking of her vision for Michigan's bright future.

"I can't wait to share my vision for our state as we move towards our bright future, and lay out my plans to lower costs, bring supply chains and manufacturing home to Michigan, and ensure Michiganders have unparalleled economic opportunity and personal freedom," she said ahead of her speech.

Bright future for whom?

Certainly not all those babies you want murdered.
