Who thought this was a good idea?
In a city where the Covid restrictions and Vax mandates are still in effect, with some of the harshest restrictions, Boston Mayor, Michelle Wu, did an Instagram live event where she hopped on the app to interact with her constituents and answer questions in an informal manner.
And it did not go as planned, at all.
.

.
Oh gosh!
The cringe is real!
She sits there, hopeless and alone, as the comments demanding that she remove mandates and stop the Covid madness poured in.
"Why do you hate kids? Teachers? Cops? Firemen?"
"You are ruining our great city!"
"Medical discrimination and apartheid"
"How long will you mandate tyranny?"
"Medical tyranny is still tyranny!"
The comments just rolled across the screen.
She didn't respond to anything negative at all. She just helplessly tried to find something she could comment on without looking absolutely awful.
She has no answer.

This is a great example of holding leaders to account. She pretends like she can't see any of the negative comments, but they're there.
And she is sitting there reading every single line.
