Hamas calls jihadis to worldwide day of "sacrifice" on Friday the 13th. Stay strapped, ladies and gents!

These people are not messing around.

This call to action concerns mostly those Arabs in close proximity to Israel to come out and fight the "Little Satan," as they call them, but we should also worry about this in our big Western cities where we've allowed Arabs — a lot of the time military-aged men — to congregate.

If you don't know much about Islam, understand that forcefully making the whole world Muslim is part of their end-times theology. They are taught that Jesus Christ and a figure known as the "Mahdi" will return to earth to judge the planet once every nation flies under the flag of Islam, and that this is inevitable.

Not all Muslims believe violent jihad is the way to accomplish that. In fact, most of them believe having more babies than other cultures, replacing them by migration, and influencing their laws from the inside out is the better way to go.

But Hamas wants all-out war, so look at what Hamas leader and founding member Khalid Mashal had to say:

"We declare next Friday, ‘The Friday of the Al-Aqsa Flood,' as a day of general mobilization in our Arab and Islamic world and among the free people of the world," the message translated according to Memri. "It is a day to rally support, offer aid, and participate actively."

Al-Aqsa refers to the mosque in Jerusalem built upon the Temple Mount, central to the dispute over who holds the rightful claim to the territory of the Holy Land.

"It is a day to expose the crimes of occupation, isolate it, and foil all its aggressive schemes. It is a day to demonstrate our love for Palestine, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa," the call continued. "It is a day for sacrifice, heroism, and dedication, and to earn the honor of defending the first Qibla of Muslims, the third holiest mosque, and the ascension of the trusted Messenger."

That's tomorrow, folks — overnight for us here in America, so we could wake up to some serious stuff. And the Friday the 13th theme just rubs me the wrong way.

He goes on:

"We call upon our rebellious youth throughout the West Bank, in its cities, villages, and uprising camps, in the streets and neighborhoods of Jerusalem, and at the squares of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, to rise up, join massive demonstrations, and shake the ground beneath the feet of the Zionist invaders and their settler gangs. Engage with their soldiers and cowardly army in every place, affirming the unity of destiny and the path towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, liberating them from the defilement of the Zionist occupation."

A little bit more on these comments:

Yeah, these comments are enough that, if I was an Arab militant living in the West, I'd see it as a call to action. And if I lived in the Middle East, I'd be all over it. Of course, it's also important to understand how the Muslim world views Palestinians a bit like an American might view married hillbilly cousins from deep Appalachia, and that it's highly likely that anyone would want to die for a leader like Mashal who broadcasts his messages from the safety and comfort of Qatar!

But be on the lookout, people. Cuz you never know what's going to happen when the leader of Hamas calls for a global day of jihad, especially given the events of the past week.

Of course, if you're in Europe, your best bet is to have a quick way to escape before bullets or bombs start flying. Over here in America, we've got some more... intricate solutions for dealing with these kind of problems.

After all, we've got generations that have their heads on a swivel for Freddy and Jason on Friday the 13th... and we've got the tools to put down anything that looks out of place!
