The New York Times Editorial Board is BEGGING Biden to drop out of the race

I guess the fine folks at the failing New York Times didn't get the "circle the wagons" memo from Obama in time.

Yesterday evening, the NYT Editorial Board put out THIS opinion:

"To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave The Race."

This isn't a total shock. We spent a lot of time dissecting the various NYT opinions in our breakdown of the media coming apart on Friday.

But for the most influential news outlet on The Left to publicly come out four months before the election and DEMAND that the DEMOCRAT President of the United States withdraw from the election is something we've never seen the likes of before.

Here's what the Times had to say:

Mr. Biden has been an admirable president. Under his leadership, the nation has prospered and begun to address a range of long-term challenges, and the wounds ripped open by Mr. Trump have begun to heal. But the greatest public service Mr. Biden can now perform is to announce that he will not continue to run for re-election.

As it stands, the president is engaged in a reckless gamble. There are Democratic leaders better equipped to present clear, compelling and energetic alternatives to a second Trump presidency. There is no reason for the party to risk the stability and security of the country by forcing voters to choose between Mr. Trump's deficiencies and those of Mr. Biden. It's too big a bet to simply hope Americans will overlook or discount Mr. Biden's age and infirmity that they see with their own eyes.

Jesse Kelly sums up the "Biden must drop out" crowd pretty well, imo.

There's nothing that frightens them more than Donald Trump.

That's why they want Biden out.
