Tim Walz, like every other radical Democrat, told us recently that he opposes the Electoral College.
Let's be honest, this "Electoral College needs to go" talk is just a fun way to say you want New York and California to elect the president every four years.
But the Harris campaign, give them credit, realized that this was a crazy thing to say a month before an election (which will be decided by the Electoral College), so they're working overtime to convince you that this was just another knucklehead comment from Tim Walz.
The unofficial Harris response to her VP's statement is, essentially, don't listen to him, he's an idiot.
Here's CBS:
The comments were immediately seized on by the Trump campaign and prominent Republicans, who accused Walz of attempting to throw the results of a victory by former President Donald Trump into question if Trump were to win in November.
Republicans pounce!
In a statement provided to CBS News, a spokesperson for the Harris-Walz campaign said Walz 'believes that every vote matters in the Electoral College and he is honored to be traveling the country and battleground states working to earn support for the Harris-Walz ticket. He was commenting to a crowd of strong supporters about how the campaign is built to win 270 electoral votes. And, he was thanking them for their support that is helping fund those efforts.'
Yeah, he literally said "The Electoral College needs to go" and the campaign is like, No, he didn't say that! Why are Republicans seizing!
Don't be fooled, this is who the Democrats are.
Remember, folks, democracy is on the ballot!
