Need a job? An enormous semiconductor manufacturer is opening a new facility north of Phoenix, Arizona, and looking to fill it with workers. Surprisingly, many of the open positions don't require any experience.

Semiconductor maker TSMC out of Taiwan is capitalizing on a partnership with the Trump administration to invest big money in the production of semiconductor chips to compete with China.

Look at this place!

As reported by NBC 12 News in Phoenix, the facility and its accompanying jobs are the product of a major manufacturer's $168 BILLION investment in the Arizona site.

'The International Space Station cost 150 billion,' said TSMC Arizona President Rose Castanares. 'We are investing more than that, and it's exciting.'

While many might assume that such a company would only be looking for the brainiest of total nerds to hire, TSMC is also on the lookout for regular people to fill their factory β€” and they're willing to pay good money for them.

TSMC said they have hundreds of jobs open right now for technicians.

A high school diploma is all that's needed to apply; no experience necessary. TSMC will train you in a number of different roles, and the starting salary is reportedly about $50,000 a year with full benefits.

'We focus locally for hiring our technicians. They don't need a four-year degree. I looked last week and we had more than 100 different types of technicians available,' said Castanares. 'People who are even just a little bit curious should go onto TSMC.com and see what's right for them.'

So, if you're looking for a new career and want to stick it to the Chinese …

… go ahead and polish up that resume.
