Watch the feminist rant in Disney's new "She-Hulk" show and enjoy the glorious reviews blasting it for wokeness

This is just brutal:

[ANGRY MONOLOGUE ABOUT CONTROLLING ANGER]

Sometimes it's good to know how bad a thing is going to be so you don't have to waste any time on it.

If you need any more proof, the user reviews on IMDb are...well, they're not good. Here's a few:

I'm all about female heroes, Leia and Ahsoka being some of my favorite characters of all time. But it's not because they are female, it's because they are great characters that happen to be female...She-Hulk could have been the same. But instead they instantly jump on the preachy train and spend the whole first episode in a pseudo-feminism montage that gets annoying really quick. Basically every scene has to include how [expletive] men are, and how great women are. Also, it's one thing for the female version of Hulk, or really just this character's version of Hulk to be better at some things because of her life experience. But she's literally shown to be better at everything, emotional control (yes, the irony is not lost here), brute strength, balance, jokes, literally everything. I hate the Mary-sue argument as it gets way overused, but this is THE epitome of Mary-sue.

Ouch!

My review is going to anger a lot of people. But my recommendation is to get out of your emotions and actually hear what I'm trying to say. Writing female Heroes as smug and sarcastic isn't ever going to work well. It's like writers these days only have one default personality they go to when making "strong" female characters. Masculine and smug. Talking down to the men around them 24/7. They also write the most embarrassing whimsy men to try to not accept the women in the work place etc.. Just so she can shut them down and defeat the so called "patriarchy" that people think is still prevalent.... Men and women are different. Trying to make female characters ultra cocky and sarcastic won't ever translate as well as with someone like Tony Stark. I really wish we could get back to letting strong female characters actually be feminine and likable in the process. Men acting feminine and women acting masculine is getting OLD FAST.... And this show shines a very bright spot light on that.

Preach!

Hire some writers that don't suck. You had an amazing lead actress (Orphan Black) so clearly this dumpster fire is due to bad writing/directing. It's simply Bizarre how bad Disney is doing with the MCU now. Also the whole, she can do anything the Hulk can do, but better? Give me a break. The sad truth here is, you can stop just hating on men. You don't have to tear down male character[s] to uplift female ones. This is something you should have learned in High School writing of all places.

YIKES!

Regrets to all the folks who worked pretty hard on this show only to see it getting ripped apart like this!

Of course, they had to know what they were doing when they slipped the RBG bobblehead in there!
