No, I don't mean iNDiGeNoUs pEoPLe's dAy, which was created by the woke harpies who want to rewrite history and think Christian civilization is bad.
If you want to read why everything you learned in public school about Christopher Columbus is wrong (you were taught by commies), there are plenty of other articles that do a great job of that.
None of the great men who founded our nation saw Columbus as an evil, racist, slaver who sought to dominate people of the West Indies under his thumb. They saw Columbus as he was: A great explorer and effective governor who accomplished one of the most singular feats in human history, ushering in an era of growth and prosperity that continues to this day. There is a reason that early Americans referred to the U.S. as "Columbia," and why our capital city is named the "District of Columbia."
The wokies hate that, pretending that Europeans alone were guilty of injustices like discrimination and slavery, while ignoring the unbelievable progress in technology, education, medicine, liberty, and human rights that came to the world as a result of the path that Columbus and Christendom paved.
The world is better because of Columbus, not in spite of him.
