If you didn't hear, we're liberating Greenland.
Why Greenland? Well, I don't have time to get into all the details, but it's a massive, resource-rich island that is vital to air and shipping routes in the Northern Hemisphere. China wants to set up shop there, right on our doorstep.
Which is why Trump sent his son as the American vanguard on Tuesday to meet the locals.
Greenland's capital Nuuk has just under 20,000 residents, about a third of the total population of the island.
Imagine living at the edge of the world and seeing Trump Force One flying in!
Here's some workers on the airport tarmac taking a photo with Don Jr:
And here's Don Jr with conservative activist Charlie Kirk (right) and businessman/Super PAC organizer Sergio Gor by a statue of Hans Egede, the Lutheran missionary who founded Nuuk in the 1720s.
Then Donald Trump called into a lunch gathering with locals who were sporting their finest MAGA gear.
I mean, c'mon, look at those views!
Meanwhile, over in the States, the dying corporate press wanted Trump to promise that he won't go all Manifest Destiny on Greenland and he went full savage mode:
The prime minister of Denmark responded to Don Jr's visit by saying Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders, which means the Greenlanders should be able to vote to become Americans ... right?
We're coming, Greenland! E pluribus unum!
