Here's our current devout-Catholic president, Jolly Joe Biden, just a few short years ago assuring us that no one wanted to redefine marriage:

Marriage is between a man and a woman and states must respect that. Nobody's violated that law, there's been no challenge to that law. Why do we need a constitutional amendment? Marriage is between a man and a woman. What's the game going on here?

Well, as it turns out, there was a challenge. We DID need an amendment.

Nine years after this, we had Obergefell. This week, every single Democrat and more than 20% of Republicans in the Senate voted to make same-sex marriage law.

Funny how things change.

It's almost like they told us sweet little lies for years and years about their plans and now it's too late to turn back.
