Here’s why tasers are not as safe as you think

On October 13, a suspect fled from police in Little Rock, Arkansas on his motorcycle before ditching and running away on foot. Officers deployed a taser to stop him, but then this happened:

[Warning: Human Fireball]

Apparently, said bro had a gas can in his backpack. The taser prongs pierced the can and the electrical current ignited the gas and, well…

Reportedly, the perp is recovering. He learned an important lesson called "Mess around, find out."

Just remember that when we talk about appropriate force, "tase them" isn't a perfect solution. A taser is easy to miss, often fails to stop a target, and sometimes causes people to explode!
