A Bethlehem police officer saved a six-week-old baby from choking late Friday night.
Just before midnight, Bethlehem Police Department Officer Caitlyn Krage responded to an emergency call for an unresponsive infant at a home on Griffin Circle in North Bethlehem.
Krage arrived at the home within minutes of the call and found the infant motionless and foaming at the mouth.
Krage used the Heimlich maneuver, clearing the baby's airway so they could breathe again, police said.
"Motionless and foaming at the mouth." That means that without this cop's actions, the baby would have died.
