Dr. Anthony Fauci, in comments made at a panel discussion in D.C. this week, made some interesting observations and shared some rather pointed (like, finger-pointed-in-your-face "pointed") advise for those "independent" minded Americans who just don't seem to understand the times in which we live.
With a smug grin and an even smugger chuckle, Fauci put a fatherly finger in the face of Americans, saying:
"We're not a country that would accept if a ruler tells us, ‘You must do this' … the UK is similar to where we are now, because each of our countries have that independent spirit. We don't want to be told what to do. Well, I understand that, but now is the time to do what you're told."
Did you get that, America?
We know you have an independent spirit and don't like to be told what to do. We understand that. Really we do. We get it.
Now, do what you're told.
Wax authoritarian much?
