No more than three of your families that is. The governor's and his close allies' families? The sky is the limit!

The gathering took place at "The French Laundry," a high-end California restaurant that offers groups such as Newsom's a $450-per-person tasting menu.

Looks tasty! However, I'm afraid I'll have to skip the "hand rolled ricotta ‘Agnolotti'" since that costs another $175.

You know, appearances and all.
