On one hand, there's no reality where Trump exists and he lets Big Tech get away with censoring him.
On the other hand, it's almost unexpected considering how untouchable Big Tech is these days. The sheer power that CEOs like Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg wield over the average person worldwide is insane.
Here's what Trump had to say:
Before you go rolling your eyes at Orange Man Bad and his mean tweets, consider what this case will represent. This isn't just a celebrity personality who's doing battle with private companies over being kicked off their platforms.
This is a former President of the United States suing for having his means of communication with the world shut off by companies that control the flow of nearly all the information people see.
If they can censor the most powerful man in the world โ the guy with the nuclear codes and control of the U.S. military โ they can certainly make you disappear.
To that end, you should care immensely about this case, because the precedent set might define whether free speech continues to be a thing.
More importantly, Trump isn't suing alone. He is acting as the lead representative on a class-action suit that a BUNCH of people cancelled by Big Tech are going to join.
You can join the lawsuit here.
I don't know what will happen, but I do know a street fighter like Trump might be the best shot at taking out Zuck and Dorsey at the knees.
