Maybe, just maybe – and hear me out here – firing a bunch of essential medical workers with decades of experience over a vaccine was a really stupid idea.
As we like to observe around these parts, reality has an ugly habit of winning every single time when challenged by human ideology.
These hospitals thought the 'Rona was the worst thing ever, and they preached that the vaccines were extremely effective and essential for the continuation of human life and prosperity. Based on their moral worldview, they gambled that firing unvaxxed workers was going to be the right thing in the long run.
Unfortunately for them, the 'Rona isn't as bad as the doomsday cult has been preaching, there are legitimate concerns about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, and it was far more illogical and immoral to fire a bunch of qualified staff.
