In any healthy constitutional republic, this would be a kill shot for one's career:

Yeah, so if true, this is a huge scandal.

Here's the House GOP letter to AG Merrick Garland, signed by Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio:

With the kill shot:

And just in case you wanted the smoking gun, here it is: an internal FBI email that corroborates the claim.

Key passage:

The Counterterrorist and Criminal Divisions created a threat tag, EDUOFFICIALS, to track instances of related threats. We ask that your offices apply the threat tag to investigations and assessments of threats specifically directed against school board administrators, board members, teachers, and staff. The purpose of the threat tag is to help scope this threat on a national level and provide an opportunity for comprehensive analysis of the threat picture for effective engagement with law enforcement officers at all levels.

Then, this...

I'm sure in the coming days that Garland and others in the FBI/DOJ will try to weasel out of this by saying it obviously only applied to actual physical threats made against school boards or staff.

But after a year or more of being labelled "domestic extremists," the average parent fed up with the indoctrination of their kids at school isn't going to buy that lie.
